Tara D'Aquino joined Palm City, Florida’s VJD Construction, Inc., in 2004. As the construction company’s chief financial officer, she oversees all financial department operations, which include financial planning and reporting, financial strategy and decision-making, and risk management. She is also tasked with ensuring financial regulatory compliance. She has developed numerous long-term financial plans in accordance with the VJD Construction corporate mission. Tara D'Aquino previously enjoyed a successful career in the hospitality industry. She began at Landry’s Seafood Restaurants before being moved to various restaurant locations to assist with startup operations and efficiency initiatives. She worked at multiple locations in Florida, New York, and Texas before joining VJD Construction.

Ms. D'Aquino studied criminal justice at the University of Florida in Gainesville and Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton. When she is not managing financial operations at VJD Construction, she enjoys global travel. She also attends live music with her daughter, including Olivia Rodrigo and Taylor Swift concerts. She remains interested in hotels, air travel, and other aspects of the hospitality industry.
